These were my main sources [x] [x] but I used information from various websites that I lost track of. I know there are more crises  going on in the world so please feel free to add your own commentary to this post. If you disagree with any of the information show me your sources and I’ll edit it.

There seems to be some confusion about a couple of things that I’d like to clarify.

When pro-Israelis say that Israel “provides” Gaza and the West Bank with water and electricity, it’s in the same way that your local store “provides” you with groceries. They sell them electricity and water.

It’s also worth mentioning that the majority of the water provided to Palestinians comes from water aquifers in the West Bank. i.e. they forbid us from drilling for water and sell us water extracted from Palestinian lands.

(INDIGNANT HUFFING) NOT ALL M……ale lions

the more i think about it, the weirder this comment seems. how does this man know that being a male lion is more stressful than being a female lion. has he lived as both a female and male lion before. is this man an Animorph

I do find it funny that lesbians are perceived as man-hating but gay men are not perceived as woman-hating, and in fact are often illogically shielded from accusations of misogyny simply by being gay

weird it’s like male privilege works even when queerness is involved who knew

Meet The 14-Year-Old Girl Who Developed A Low-Cost Water Purification System | FastCompany

The next generation of scientists is already hard at work solving our biggest problems. Take Deepika Kurup, a 14-year-old high school student from Nashua, New Hampshire. After seeing children in India drinking dirty water from a stagnant pool, she decided, in her words, “to find a solution to the global water crisis.” And then she actually made some progress towards that goal, developing a solar-powered water purification system.

She is the future

Ever notice how it’s always brilliant teenagers making stuff that will actually solve the world’s worst problems, like what do adults even do?
